I see that you have chosen a Type A plug and socket that has been prohibited in new construction since 1962. These unpolarised plugs can pose a shock hazard if there is an interchange of the live and neutral connections. I hope that the item on the other end of the plug in not a toaster or other appliance with exposed heating elements as they can remain live even though they are cool to the touch. So please view with caution, as I would hate for anyone to get shocked….well unless you like that sort of thing.
As my oldest son would quickly tell you, his father is stuck in a time warp when it comes to any sort of electrical or technical thingy. Thank goodness it’s only a cartoon plug connected to a cartoon lamp.
I bet you wondered why your electric bill was so high!
Look at that light … those little rodents are using at least 500 watt bulbs… two, or three of them, I bet. All of them plugged into the world’s oldest extention cord.
I think that it’s time you invested in a cat.
Really.
